I was studying English irregular verbs from a sheet of paper and the next day I didn't remember them. That's how it always is for me at school β I can't stick with a notebook for long. Now my mom loads the vocab into UpTheMind, the app keeps track of how many I go through each day, and gives me sentences so I don't just memorize blindly. I'm even doing biology there now. I've never sat and studied this calmly before.

Hi, I'm Josef. When I decided to become a commercial helicopter pilot, I knew there would be a lot of studying ahead.
I have dyslexia and dysgraphia. While I managed to get my private license, I hit a wall with the professional theory. Hours of reading, transcribing, text-heavy tests. None of it worked for me.
That's when I realized the problem wasn't me. The problem is that most education is built for people who read fast and remember texts.
But I learn differently. By speaking, listening, making associations, having conversations. From that experience, UpTheMind was born.
It's inspired by the needs of people with dyslexia, but built for everyone who wants to learn their own way.
