What students say

Nicolas Csikkel
I was studying English irregular verbs from a sheet of paper and the next day I didn't remember them. That's how it always is for me at school โ€” I can't stick with a notebook for long. Now my mom loads the vocab into UpTheMind, the app keeps track of how many I go through each day, and gives me sentences so I don't just memorize blindly. I'm even doing biology there now. I've never sat and studied this calmly before.

Founder's Story

UpTheMind - when you learn differently, you can achieve more

Hi, I'm Josef. When I decided to become a commercial helicopter pilot, I knew there would be a lot of studying ahead.

I have dyslexia and dysgraphia. While I managed to get my private license, I hit a wall with the professional theory. Hours of reading, transcribing, text-heavy tests. None of it worked for me.

That's when I realized the problem wasn't me. The problem is that most education is built for people who read fast and remember texts.

But I learn differently. By speaking, listening, making associations, having conversations. From that experience, UpTheMind was born.

It's inspired by the needs of people with dyslexia, but built for everyone who wants to learn their own way.

Frequently asked questions

What is UpTheMind?

UpTheMind is an AI learning platform built primarily for students with dyslexia. It helps you learn from textbooks using voice interaction, AI explanations and adaptive flashcards โ€” you upload a PDF, select the parts that matter, listen to them instead of reading, and turn them into flashcards with one click. UpTheMind is developed by Celaeno Industry s.r.o. and available at upthemind.io.

Who is UpTheMind for?

UpTheMind is designed for anyone who learns better by listening, speaking and associating instead of reading long texts: students with dyslexia or ADHD, language learners, university students with heavy reading loads, and busy professionals.

Is UpTheMind only for people with dyslexia?

No. UpTheMind was inspired by dyslexia โ€” its founder has it โ€” but it works for everyone. If reading long texts is slow, tiring or simply not how you remember best, UpTheMind gives you an audio-first, conversation-based way to study.

How does the 21-day free trial work?

Create an account and you get full access to all features for 21 days โ€” no credit card required. When the trial ends, you decide whether to subscribe; nothing is charged automatically.

Which languages does UpTheMind support?

The app and AI work in English, Czech, Spanish and German. UpTheMind is also great for learning foreign-language vocabulary with example sentences and a daily study plan.

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes. The monthly plan can be cancelled anytime and you won't be charged for the next period. You'll also receive a reminder before every renewal.
